7.JIREUGI = PUNCHING   
When jireugi is performed, the fist will start at the waist and will be go straight tot he target. 
This technique can be performed with Ap-Joomeok, Pyon-Joomeok and Bam-Joomeok. 
There are several possibilities as it comes to the direction of the punch: 
   
Bandae Jireugi  To the front (reversed tot he back leg) punch 1
Baro Jireugi  Tot the front (equal tot he back leg) punch 1
Yeop Jireugi  Sideway punch 7
Dollyeo Jireugi  Circling punch (at the end of the movement, teh arm has an angle of 90 degrees) 
Dwit Jireugi Punch backward (over the shoulder) 
Naeryo Jireugi Downward punch (f.i. towards the fallen opponent) 
Dangyo Jireugi  Upward punch with Jeochyo Joomeok 8
   
P.S. When performing puches tot he front instead of Oen and Oreun (left and right punch), the indications Bandae and Baro are used. 
Furthermote, ther are differences int he shape of the fist:  
   
Jeochyo Jireugi  Reversed fist (back of the hand down) 7
Eopeun Jireugi  Horizontal fist (back of the hand up) 
   
P.S. When the punch is performed with ‘Ap-Joomeok’, the indication ‘Ap-Joomeok’ is not used. Also the indication “Eopeun” is not used. 
   
Examples: 
Momtong Bandae Jireugi  Punch to the front (reversed compared to the back leg) with Eopeun Ap-Joomeok to the solaris Plexis 1
Momtong Baro Jireugi  Same, but reversed 1
Dangyo Teok Jireugi  Uppercut with reversed fist to the chin 8
Doo Joomeok Jeochyo Jireugi  Two punchers simultaneously performed with Jeochyo Joomeok 7
